Yeah, yeah, yeah I just got back from India but the trip to India was technically not a vacation. Now, don’t get me wrong, it was a fun trip but a vacation, not so much…..
So summer vacation’s around the corner and vacations are on my mind. Now we’ve taken some fantastic vacations in the past. We did a road trip on the scenic 101 highway, we’ve been to Crater Lake, Lake Tahoe, Reno, Grand Canyon in Arizona, Las Vegas, the East Coast where we covered Washington D.C and the beautiful Baltimore in Maryland. We’ve been to Alaska and Europe, several trips to Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada and of course we did Disney last year and you know all about that from my wordy vacation post.
This time around, though I am dreaming of a vacation by the beach. We live in the Pacific Northwest and while we have a beautiful coastline , the water’s always freezing. So our trips to the beach have been restricted to sitting on the sand and building castles while wearing jackets and on one memorable occasion, wearing gloves.
I miss the glorious beaches back home….. Kalwa at Goa, Marina in Chennai and Juhu at Mumbai. Now, warm beaches and playing in the water is not going to happen in my part of the world so I’ve taken to dreaming about beach vacations. Better yet, I want to live in something that looks like this

Oh, the next time you come to Vancouver, you should come visit us. I live bout 6 hours away from Vancouver B.C, next vacation will have to be Sunriver in Central Oregon or Banff in Canada, if everything works out.
I haven’t been to many places but I cherish my trip to Cape Cod. My dream beach vacation would be in Seychelles…
Ohhh, you have gone to the 2 places I most want to go…Seychelles and Cape Cod!! Would love to go there and soon.

Yup, those were all our captures using a very basic point and shoot camera. They did turn out good despite the limited features.
